Galileo is a computer reservation system (CRS) Owned by travel port. As of 2002, it had a 26.4 % share of world wide CRS airline bookings. In addition to airline reservations, the Galileo CRS is also used to book Train Travel, Cruises, Car Rental, & Hotel Rooms. The Galileo system was moved from Denver, Colorado, to the World span data center in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 28, 2008, following 2007 merger to travel port and World span (although they now share the same data center, they continue to be run as separate system). Galileo is subject to the caps II successor secure flight programme for the selection of passengers with a risk profile.
